What an amazing few weeks it has been. At the end of last month I discovered that I had been short-listed as one of 50 artists out of over 4000 who entered for the Artist and Illustrator magazine's Artist of the Year 2012 and one of 10 in the "Other" category.

In September I helped organise an exhibition of 12 animal artists at Lytham Heritage Centre.
We gained a lot of good publicity and enjoyed many delightful comments about the exhibition. Sales were slow but I think we can build upon the knowledge we learnt doing this first "The Ark" exhibition.
I have today received confirmation that we have been offered gallery space in Lytham again, this time in Booth's supermarket specially built art gallery for the beginning of 2013. Watch this space for more news.
We also hope to return to Lytham Heritage Centre in 2014.
Voted!! Good news about the exhibition in Booths... think they built it for Lytham Art group... seem to remember someone telling me, believe it's a great venue!!
